Dodgeball Fundraiser Details
- $350 Prize Pool
- Event is located at WideWorld Sports Center
- EACH PLAYER must have paid the $12 fee each
- Teams must be of 8-10 members
- Players must be above the age of 12+
- Please have ONE person fill out the sign-up form for the whole team
- Make sure to have the liability waivers turned in or brought on the day of the event
- EACH player must fill out a waiver
The dodgeball tournament is a great way for you to get involved through a fun activity. All entry fees will go towards the A2PGrant cause, so grab your friends, make a team, and go have fun! At the end of the tournament, The team coming in 2nd place will get small trophies and a pizza party, and the team coming in 3rd place will get small trophies to celebrate their contribution and hard work put into this tournament. Finally, the winners of the dodgeball tournament will receive a $350 dollar prize pool to split evenly between the winning team.
The idea of a dodgeball tournament came from our philosophy of involving students to participate in a fun and engaging way is the best way to not only support our fundraising goals, but also to foster community involvement among peers. This tournament will raise money to support the education of K-5 students in Panipat, India living in extreme poverty, supporting them with meals, school supplies, and scholarships to continue past elementary education.
Before the tournament, which will take place on December 14, the official bracket will be announced, and teams will be assigned to their respective locations, with 2 courts in the (TBD) main gym and another in the aux gym. This will likely be an all-day event; the start and stop times to be announced soon, so make sure to stay updated on our Instagram! Games will be formatted in 21-minute intervals, with the winning team decided by the best out of three 7 minute rounds. There will be breaks between games to allow for rest and rehydration, as well as a lunch break midday. Teams who did not win are free to leave, though we encourage you to stay and cheer on friends!
