Where is the money going?
The money will be collected in the Ann Arbor Rotary West bank account, then it will be sent to Panipat Royale Rotary Club to be matched by Rotary International, which will then be donated to the PKG Memorial School.
How will raised funds be used?
The money will be used to buy children school supplies like simple textbooks, desks, school-used computers, meals, etc. This way, with more resources, these kids may have access to more supplemental materials to further their education.
How is the money being sent to the school?
Throughout the duration of the A2PGrant project, the money will be accumulated within Ann Arbor West Rotary Club's bank, and will be sent to the club in Haryana, India: the Panipat Royale Rotary Club. Once the money has been transferred, the Panipat Royale Rotary Club will utilize that money to buy resources for the children to use.

How can I stay updated on fundraisers and progress?
We have several social media accounts such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook that we use to publicize our A2PGrant progress. Please make sure to follow those for consistent updates. Additionally, we also have an email list that we will use to provide routine updates about the progress of the initiative and any upcoming dates that you may need to know. To join the email list, please go to the Contact Us page and fill out the form, and make sure to click YES on the question asking if you would like to be on the email list.
How can I be sure my donation will directly support the students in India?
On our website and social media, we will actively post updates about the children and the new school supplies they will be receiving. All proceeds go towards purchasing school supplies, which we will show on our social media accounts.
Will there be more fundraising events in the future?
Yes! Currently, we have our main fundraisers that are listed on the website. But, we hope to hold more fundraising events throughout our schools and communities, for example: can drives, bake sales, etc.
What is the Pinky Khunger Memorial School?
The PKG Memorial School is a non-governmental school founded by a local woman in India. This school is located in a slum area of Panipat, India. The people at the school go to the streets to motivate children to attend the school because the children are denied admission into regular, governmental schools. At the school, they receive a basic education catered to their current level of knowledge. After learning basic reading, writing, and math skills, the children can then take a test and get a recommendation from the teachers at the PKG Memorial School to attend governmental school and get a higher education.
